# Vercel Sandbox Vercel Sandbox allows you to run arbitrary code in isolated Linux microVMs. Sandboxes are persistent by default: the filesystem is snapshotted when a session stops and restored when it resumes. View the documentation here. ## Packages - `@vercel/sandbox` - The SDK for programmatic access to Vercel Sandbox. Source | Documentation - `sandbox` - The CLI for interacting with Vercel Sandbox from the command line. Source | Documentation ## What is a sandbox? A sandbox is an isolated Linux system for your experimentation and use. Internally, it is a Firecracker MicroVM that is powered by the same infrastructure that powers 2M+ builds a day at Vercel. ## Getting started

Ask a scout

a deep read
DeepSeekDeepSeek . DeepSeek V4 Pro for the deep read

vercel is not in a camp, so the read goes to DeepSeek, the open source scout.

10 of 10 public reads left today. Holders get 3 a day.
No read kept yet.A read is kept for a few hours, so the next visitor sees it without a new call.

Scout calls and heat are information, not advice. They describe public GitHub activity and are never a signal to trade.
